| DIverted
Class 156: Working a Glasgow to Edinburgh via Shotts service, diverted
due to the work at Newton |
 |
| A class 303 heads
south through the yard on a cold and foggy Winter's day |
 |
| A class 314 heads
in the opposite direction , viewed from the spoil bing at the North end
of the yard. Compare this view with the shot on the Mossend index
page, and note that the sidings forming the down yard have been lifted. |
 |
| Former class 101
unit, now route training / sandite vehicles TDB977607 & 8, pass Mossend
South Junction whilst operating a "Q" train working. These workings
operate over lines prone to trespassing or vandalism and have British Transport
Police aboard. I was viewed with professional suspicion when taking
this photograph! |
